Borderline Shop is a not for profit organization that provides income for women artisans, support for the income generation projects of women’s organizations along the Thailand-Burma border and also funds the activities of the Borderline as a collective, offering workshops, internships and other opportunities for its members.
Members of the Borderline Women’s Collective include the Chin Women’s Group (CWG), Chimmuwa, Lahu Women’s Organization (LWO), Kachin Women’s Association of Thailand (KWAT), Karen Women’s Organization (KWO), and the Shan Women’s Action Network (SWAN). The online shop is an extension of the Borderline Collective in Mae Sot, Thailand.
