Htun

Htun was born in 1978 in the capital city of Mon Ethnic State, near the Sittown River. Htun left Burma in 1989 because of the condition of life. He lived at Wat Alam Monastery and learned Thai literature and practiced drawing and painting.

He collected money to buy exercise books and art books by washing the monks’ robes.

Day by day, he improved his thinking and imagination. And then, he tried hard to paint by his emotion. He deeply wants to express his feelings on nature and his environment.

He enjoys painting and living an artist’s life.
