Exhibition: Beyond the Dark (Aug 2008)

(07-08-08)-Special-show-1On Thursday 7th August, Borderline opened a special solo exhibition titled Beyond the Dark, showcasing the work of artist Myat Thein Zaw. It is his first solo show at Borderline Gallery.

His medium is acrylic and his subjects are nuns, novices and monks inside our environment go round for alms. Some subjects are images of landscape concerned with his native land, Arakain State, Burma. Some pictures have creative in different techniques by his new idea. You can look collect art, watercolor, oil and knife etc…

He is going to walk on his own way by testing in different techniques. You can see that his dominant colors are dark and thick which just came from his emotional.

Opening reception: You are invited to join us and meet the artists at the opening reception taking place at Borderline Gallery from 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday 7th August. Borderline offered Burmese food and drinks supported by Borderline Tea Shop.The exhibition closed on 21st August.
